Under the grant of Mercy Corps - Development Fund realizes the project on training, Institutional development of NGO "Oriyon" and joint realization of agricultural microfinancing program in Karategin zone of Tajikistan. 05.06.02-31.12.02
Under the grant of Eurasia Foundation the DEVELOPMENT FUND started the second year realization of project "Support of development of steady mechanisms of micro financing in countryside". Training of NCO staff dealing with microfinacing in Sugd and Khatlon areas. Issue of corresponding booklets and manuals. Analysis of microfinancing programs' influence on socio-economic condition of borrowers. 01.04.02-31.03.03
The DEVELOPMENT FUND is carrying out the project on microfinancing of farmers, micro entrepreneurs and housekeepers in countryside of Hatlon area under the grant of Shelter Now International (USA).
The DEVELOPMENT FUND under the grant of Mercy Corps has begun the project "Mercy Corps/Development Fund Agricultural Microfinance Program" in Kanibadam, B.Gafurov, Dj.Rasulov, Nau regions and in Khujand city for people dealing with production, processing, and infrastructure of agriculture. Loan disbursement from $200 to $5000.

By project "Support of vulnerable farmers on private lands", under the Mercy Corps grant, 300 farmers from 5 regions of Sohgd oblast were trained on "Basis of agribusiness and microfinancing for farmers". 02.05.01-30.06.01
The DEVELOPMENT FUND is carrying out the project on microfinancing of farmers, micro businessmen and housekeepers in countryside of Fergana valley under the grant of Shelter Now International (USA). 387 borrowers have already gotten $95750 in loans. They provide 100% timely credit repayment and get new loans on larger sums. 15.02.01-31.12.02
The round tables and seminars on legal, socio economic and micro financial questions for more than 1500 participants, including international organizations working in agro sector of Northern Tajikistan are carried out by DEVELOPMENT FUND and ICTC "Toj Info" in 1999-2002.

The Network Information System with specially developed software is created - "Microfinancing Development", permitting to automatize the whole process of Microfinancing program realization.
Under the project, the conception of realization of microfinancing programs on village is developed, the local models of microfinancing are determined; educational, information and consulting infrastructure on microfinancial services is created. Information-Consulting Training and Microfinancial Centers are created.
Under the grant of Eurasia Foundation the DEVELOPMENT FUND is engaged in support of development of steady mechanisms of micro financing in countryside.

As a result, of the sociological and economic questionnaire analysis carried out by FUND in 1999-2002 y.y. in 8 areas of Northern Tajikistan, (more than 850 men) the potential clients of microfinancial program are determined and the analysis of their business was carried out.
DEVELOPMENT FUND worked out "Guide on Loan Policy and Procedures for Agriculture Development"
